I hate when people ask "how was your Christmas, birthday, any holiday" I spend them alone and just try to ignore them. I don't like to tell people that because I do not want sympathy. I don't want to sound like a recluse. I'm not. I'm just alone.

The question that I hate the most is one that most people don't seem to have a problem with. The question is: How are you doing today?
I guess it's because I don't feel like I look like I'm about to fall over dead at any minute. But, perhaps, others see me in a different light!!!!!!!

....."why haven't you remarried ?" Here's one I truly hate......
My insurance allots me 30 one-way trips a year to a doctor, drugstore to pick up a prescription, or to go to physical therapy. OK, I'm not supposed to drive yet since my knee surgery so I've been taking advantage of this service to get to physical therapy three times a week. It is exactly 8 tenths of a mile from here to PT and the Cabbies get $36 for my round
trip. I was asked the other day by a driver; " aren't you going to tip me???" ( ugh.....NO!)

Thank you!
You've gained a little weight haven't you?"
or "You don't look like you're feeling well, are you sick?"
This especially bothers me when I'm feeling great (or was feeling great!).
Love Ya, Juju

How are you REALLY feeling or is EVERYTHING OK!!! I just want to scream, as right at the moment it is not, and I can't stop crying to tell anyone how I REALLY feel!!! I'm not sure I understand it myself, if you want the truth...
And... most of the ones who ask, when I am feeling well enough to be out and about, don't really give a damn anyway! They just want to stir the pot, it gives them something to gossip about.

I hate the question, "Do you live at home?" Is this a regional question, or is this something that people hear everywhere?
I think what they are intending to find out is if someone lives AT THEIR PARENTS' HOME, as if a young person's residence isn't really a "home".
Unless someone is homeless, don't they by definition LIVE AT HOME?????

People asking you where you live, and what do or did your husband do. A question to find out how much money you have perhaps?

when people ask the name of a song and artist, I cannot remember anything about them, actually I feel pretty stoopid, like my brain went on vacation and never came back, or there is a huge "black hole" in my head where all this information magically evaporated.......
