It certainly isn't working here. If you look at the last three census's you'll see that the black population keeps increasing in the southeast states not just from birthrate but from blacks moving there, The Hispanic population increasing in the southwest and the white population increasing in the northwest also not just from births but from whites moving up here from other areas.
When left alone to do it, We tend to self segregate.
I personally moved to Idaho from Missouri for the purpose of living among my own kind and it's incredible the number of Californians and Texans doing the same.

any farmer will tell you that a pig is the cleanest and the chicken the fiercest in the barn they've been slandered over the years and the image stuck,now on this ground I'm sure pigs walked before and should have no bearing on the mosque

I think it is a problem with assimilation. For instance, you can't say anything on this board about Islam without being reported.
