They are all connected together. And we've tried only connecting two to a plug but still find the problem.

Are they all connected as one strand?

You may want to consider connecting them to a single controller so they flash in unison.

A controller can be found at http://www.ActionLighting.com

Presuming you do not try to exchange the lights.

(I would buy several sets, find 4 that work together and take the rest back).

one last thing you can do: Since LEDs use such little power, they sometimes hold charges and don't flash on cue. It could be that there is not enough amperage to allow the controller to get it's signal through the strand.

There is an easy solution: Add a single strand of conventional incandescent lights to the end of your LEDs and see if that does not help.

If it doesn't, let us know.

Either the 2 are defective or you may have to start 'em up at the same time. Sometimes you just have to play with them a little. Christmas light are known to do this a lot. You can turn this little defect in to an interesting pattern if you think about what you can do. How about ya put 'em in this order: working one, defective one, working one and then defective one. There are plenty of other patterns you can do also. You could turn them in to the store too!
