I dont run a cat on my turbo 240sx. Releases a few horsepower and plus I live in alabama where they don't care about emissions.

no reason to risk it - it is less restrictive than a muffler and it muffles sound somewhat. Try straight pipes back from the cat(s).

I don't.All of my cars(Save my track car) have either OEM cats,or perf. cats,I have not lost any hp,and also I am in New York state....Enough said there.
