This question has been debated for many years, and one that isn't easily defined when dealing with the affairs of the heart, and someone else.
Me, the husband who has been faithful all these years but whom has a really hot, sexy, very flirty young clerk in my office openly coming on to me .... I'd say it was not cheating if we hooked up one night! Boys will be boys, right?
On the other hand, my wife would not agree with my assertion and would probably throw me in the proverbial doghouse, if not divorce me.
So my answer to you, and anyone else that asks is this ... if you would not mind your BF or GF doing to another person what you want to do with someone, then it ain't cheating. In short, if I wouldn't mind my wife finding some guy and bonking his brains out one night then it would be okay for me to hook up with this little vixen. I don't want her doing that so ... I am flattered that this hot little lady wants me but that is as far as it will go.
Good luck, and hope this helps.

All of those things, a kiss? a hug? flirting? heavy petting? oral sex? sex?
would be "cheating". Even going out (dinner, the movies, wherever) would be cheating. Look up the work "monogamous" together. It also applies to couple dating, etc.

-A kiss
-Heavy Petting
-Oral sex
-Sex
Hugging? You can hug your brother--it doesn't mean anything more than you love him.
Really though, if you wouldn't do it in front of your grandmother and it's not with your boyfriend, chances are it's cheating.

ALL OF THE ABOVE. Cheating doesn't have to be physical in my book. If he has a relationship with a female that makes you feel totally uncomfortable and actually hurts you emotionally and he doesn't care to change or do anything about it then that could also be cheating!

I totally agree with you on that. If I wouldn't want him to see it then I would be doing something wrong. I never make this choice and can look him in the face with all honesty and know that I have done nothing wrong that I would not be happy for him to see

I'd say cheating is anything you do without your significant other's knowlege with another person, with the express intent to keep it hidden from your girlfriend or boyfriend.

I completely agree with you! What ever you wouldn't do in front of your boyfriend/girlfriend or their friends, for fear that they might rat you out is cheating.

Yeah, thats what I think. Anything you would not want your mate to know about or see would be cheating. In a relationship, your supposed to be loyal, true, and honest.

What ever you hide and did immorally without knowing your partner is cheating.
