No. Life is much more complicated than that. Sometimes the best plan is not escape from a situation, but to work through it.

Only in that if you do think your way into any situation, whether by intention or negligence or a default mechanism, you inevitably 'do' work your way out of it. At some point you, whether you are given a helping hand or not, do ultimately make the decision that enacts the closure.
This thing, closure, is a mighty thing. As truly as you step into the situation, it must run its own course and thus must resolve of its own cessation by its own volition. And the student of the Cycle, which is what this does address, does indeed succeed at getting out of what has been gotten into.
For the most minute of a thing does share equally the greatest explication or imports the greatest outcome and meaning with the most stark show of initiative and prowess: the wealth of a billion dollars is founded upon the very first simplest copper penny earned -- disjoint it however slightly and the entire wealth folds like that of a paper doll house.

Experiences are not what happen to us, it's what we do with them. To appreciate life fully we have to respond creatively to change. All situations are new. We have to stand out from ordinary people! Freedom from anxiety is a great energy of ability to improvise, create, invente with a high level of adaptivity. The capacity to integrate new things into our existence needs a strong will to stay alive. Also, as we feel sure of our place in the world, we then begin to face the fact that we are surrunded by creation and destruction as they constantly play themselves out. We never really know if we can get out of all situations. We can know, but it's not so sure that we can in every situations. Getting into a sutuation, for sure we can get out of it. Confronted to: what if it's at gun point? Or a gang, then it's not so sure???

First, I would not "get" myself into a situation from which I could not extricate myself. There are many, many confrontations in which we do NOT have to involve ourselves. A potential confrontation doesn't have to be confrontational. Complex, irrational & emotional situations can be avoided, & deflected without loss to integrity of self.

YES, I know I can, I have been in tight situations, and I have talked my way out of bad situations, don't get me wrong, when I know I was in the wrong, I always apologized to whoever I did wrong to. But, when I know I did not do anything to anyone is when I avoid a confrontation, and I defend myself.

Honestly, No. Sometimes we are caught in a trying situation quite unaware. That's time to rely on our impulses rather than on rational thinking, especially when you hardly get any time and are required to act fast.....e.g. a bomb blast near you (just a minor example)...

yes. sometimes you have to take action or charge and step up to the plate. one's actions speak louder than words and those who are more mature would get themselves out of situations because they have the confidence that they can. i for one know that i can make mistakes like everyone else yet i end up in these awkward situations like having to hang out with my guyfriend, bestfriend, family and have a date with my bf. in the end i can do all of them because i make all things short: i see my friend and my best friend for 1-2 hours and then go on the date for a good amount of time since i know that i can spend family time with my folks later that evening. i am not saying that i can get out of every situation like for ex. going paintballing which i agreed to w/ my bf since i promised yet i am keeping my promise. there are situations in which you will be stuck and not all the time can you get out of all the situations that you got yourself in.
