That's awesome! I'm so glad you're interested in gardening.
You didn't mention if you're into veggies, herbs or flowers, so I figured you're open to anything:
http://biblicalgardens.org/store_index.htm
^ free Poppies and Shastas (I think poppies are lovely!)
Need to send a self addressed stamped envelope (SASE)with 2 first class stamps to the address. It looks like they update the list, so check back for more/give them your email addy!
http://wintersown.org/wseo1/Free_Seeds.html
Another SASE, not sure what they send you but they give you six packets!

These people will give you a packet of seeds, and would like you to donate your extra harvest to the hungry. Excellent cause!!!!!
http://www.livemonarch.com/free-milkweed-seeds.htm
SASE gets you 15 packets, $1 donation gets you 50. Good for monarch butterflies, to support them in their travel....
And this is just interesting, just how to repair butterfly wings:

If you wander around this website and fill out this form with your feedback, they'll send you free seeds.

SASE, free packet of whatever they send you (you can try to request something though)

This is from some guy who grows giant veggies.
DISCLAIMER: I do not know any of these companies or people. I have never gotten anything from any of them. Ask your parents, and be careful - you can NEVER be too careful giving out your address - especially with that last guy since he's just an individal.
So be sure to enlist your parent's help and get their permission before giving your address to some guy!!!!
Note: You may have better luck/answers if you post this question on a gardening forum other than Yahoo. I know some people do seed trading, so maybe when you get some seeds from your harest you could save them.
Good luck!!!!!!! Be careful!

Go over to www.gardenweb.com, there are seed and plant exchanges on there. Be honest and tell them what you have said there, I'm sure you will get many who will send seeds to you. Later you can collect your own seeds and offer them on the site.
Speak to neighbours, family and friends about getting some cuttings from their gardens.
Depending on where you are you could get seeds from overseas too, but don't try it if you are in Australia - quarantine laws are strick.

Actually, a lot of those passages you quote are taken out of context. Just for one example, the one about the servant being beaten. It doesn't come from a passage instructing people how to treat their slaves, but from a passage in which all humans are likened to God's slaves/servants. Common sense back in the day, people expected a slave who was told what to do and didn't do it would be beaten. What other recourse did one have over someone who by Roman Law was your legal property? Also, you extrapolate in a couple of instances beyond what the passages actually say, such as where you claim that just because a woman isn't permitted to speak, her punishment is a beating. I agree with your main point, that many Christians merrily thumb non-Christians down for correctly quoting their holy book, but there are several instances in your quotation here where you misrepresent the Bible's obvious intent, as well as the orthodox Christian understanding of the Bible. I left Christianity after I began to understand that Christian teachers predominantly misrepresented the positions of others to make their own positions look better. This gross, widespread application of the Straw Man informal logical fallacy by Evangelicalism's most respected teachers helped me see that I was putting my trust in a lie. As a result, I'm no more tolerant of atheist straw men than I am of Christian Straw Men. That being said, I've seen you around here, and I enjoy your posts, and I generally agree with your positions.

i'll send you some. I'm majoring in biology, and am also interested in watching and observing things grow. I collect different plants and experiment with them in my backyard. Most interesting plant to grow so far has been the lotus from seed.

I don't know about free, but here's some web-sites.
You can search for ones closer to where you live.
Don't import seeds across the borders, too many problems.
Talk to local gardeners about collecting their seeds.
Grow vegetables for eating, you can sell them too.
