you should talk to the police about getting a restraining order but take a record of what he has done to make you ask for that. It might be easier if you had filed a police report on him before but depending upon how he is acting he may be breaking a law and there you can have a police report and restraining order at the same time. If he is stalking you, for example, that is a crime. Good Luck to you

yeah kinda combine wut the two above me said.. there has to be sum sort of police action involved with u and the ex in the past.. so next time he bothers u so much call the cops on him and even if nothing happens its a lawful action that was attempted to stop the ex and is a step towards getting the restraining order

You have to have someone actually give the restraining order to your ex. If he keeps avoiding the server, you can't have one.
