i really want a cell phone, but i need to convince my dad. i'm 13 and all my friends have one. but that isn't the only reason i want one. does anyone have any tips? thanks

what if in an emergency situation like u get kidnapped, are u gonna borrow the kidnapper's cell phone. u should definitely have a cell phone. i would say that to my parents. or u do more housework to please them so they can see how responsible you are. when they can see that ur very responsible. things will be easier

You may want one but your Dad shouldn't get you one. That will only prep you for when you get a car and you will be one of those teenie boppers talking on the phone while you should be focusing on the road. Tell him to get you a TracFone for emergencies, that's about all you need for now.

try to tell him that you need one in case of an emergency , or if something ever was to happen
explain how it would be easy it would be to get in contact with him and for him to get in contact with you
