ok.me and my friend from texas have been emailing bach and forth 4 a bout a year now.so we got to talking about her bf, and i said i did to, and that was a lie. i want to tell her that but im afraid that she wont talk to me anymore?? please help!

Honesty is the best policy. Tell her the truth. If she's a real friend, she'll forgive you. In fact, she'll even be grateful that you were honest with her. If you lie and just cover it up more, it's going to start future problems. Believe me...one lie leads to a dozen lies. If you were her, how would you feel? You don't want your friends to lie to you, do you? Then you couldn't trust her anymore.

I agree with Cookie M. Just be honest with her. You could shade it a little by saying somethng like "Well, I have a guy friend. He's not really a boyfriend, but I wish he was."
