I woud love to say that your financial stability is unimportant and all that matters is your personality, BUT c'mon now, we all know humans don't function that way! Psh!
If you were rich, I'd probably be somewhat jealous but would suck up to you anyway so you'd buy me stuff i don't need.
If you were an arrogant rich dude, i'd say to you, "Go screw a monkey."
Now if you were poor and in debt, I'd sympathize with you, maybe try to help you out, depending on HOW you got in debt. Poorer people do tend to be kinder. Unless you're in complete denial and keep buying stuff. Then you're just a loser in the game of life...
Honest enough for you?

Money does not influence my opinion about people.
What I like in people is their smile (metaphorically speaking) and I can perceive this 'smile' (good heart, keen mind, friendness, generosity ...and so on) by reading their words, by talking with them and looking within their eyes.
I mean, the important thing is a sort of positive feeling which makes me at ease with persons, not the awareness that I am speaking with a milionaire or with a poor person.
By the way 'poor' does not mean 'Mean' person, I would hope.
Well, in your case, I realize that you are a nice person just reading your questions that always make me smile, and by your patience, since I fear my English is not exactly 'at the top'. Forgiveness of grammar mistakes is a clear evidence of good hearted people.
Anyway I am just trying to communicate with people living all around the world hoping they will forgive my mistakes.
Hy Frogme, have a nice ... mmm ... night? day? It's six o'clock here. Still a lot of blackness in the sky.
Hasta luego ...

As I dont actually know you, how the heck would I know.
Money may well make a difference in the relationship to or with most people, depending on what end of the scale you or I are. And what stage our relationships were before the amount of money was at the beginning....if you see what I mean... LOOK.......it is gone 1 in the morning, and I am very very tired.......zzzzz Sorry. Night night sleep tight....Hope you win the lottery, will that do?

Well, it may depend on what you do with it and how you came by it.
If you won the lottery, no big deal - if you didn't give any of it away - you're a meanie (unless it covered all your debt).
If you've got a big student loan to pay off, so? but debts cos you spent your money on whores, gambling and drugs - well, there are other reasons not to like you (of course you may be the generous sort who buys everyone's good time).
People with money have less to worry about and can pay their way so they can be easier to like.

Don't judge me here but:
If I found out you had a lot of money, I would like you LESS because I could never meet you to receive some of it and I'd just be jealous.
If I found out yuo were poor with huge debts I would also like you LESS because it shows you are irresponsible and can't keep track of your money, or don't have a job.

Lots of people with money are liked more just because of their wealth. Also, poor debt-ridden people sometimes find that their so-called "friends" have deserted them.
So I guess the answer would be everyone is more appealing the richer they are.

I, as a good friend, would judge you by your personality (good or bad). You said in you question it sounds like you're not giving a best answer. Just curious

I have rich friends and poor friends. They key is friendship, not income. So, your friendship would mean more to me than anything else.

Depends. If you gave me some, I'd say you were an all right guy. If you gave me nothing, you'd be a cheap prick, and I'd hate your guts.

Money doesn't make a person. I don't know ya, but you seem cool, so I wouldn't judge either way.
