No insurance will not cover it because your health insurance is for your health, not cosmetic purposes. So unless you can prove that your acne is affecting your health [not your appearance]; no your insurance will not cover it.

unless you need the facials, masks etc. for actual medical purposes, your insurance will not cover it. I have laser hair removal done at my dermatologist's office and my insurance doesn't cover any of it. It is considered an elective cosmetic procedure. None of which is insurance.

just because you go to a doctor, doesn't mean you are covered by your insurance carrier.

You really don't need a dermatologist if your acne isn't that bad. Try your own way of getting rid of acne first and if it still doesn't go away, then consult a dermatologist. this way, you save money and time.

Just make sure you wash your face after you sweat, when you wake up, and before you go to bed. I recommend Neutrogena Oil-free Acne wash to use every morning and night to keep your pores unclogged and oil free. Sleep early, drink a lot of water to purify your skin and also try not to expose your skin to too much radiation (such as computer). If this still doesn't work, then it's probably normal for you to have acne since puberty and the hormones influence these acnes. Nothing to worry about.

many insurance do not cover treatments like facial or mask treatments. Mostly when it comes to cosmetics treatment it has to do with breast reduction or a skin graft. Go read your insurance manuals to see if their might be a loophole you can use.
