Dude.. just wait... it will be funnier to you... but I recommend something... before you watch the movies find out about Smith and what he likes, his best friends... everything and movies will be funnier... trust me...

well i'm reasonably sure they're all rated (at most pg13) wheres kevin smith movies are solidly R (the exception being 'jersey girl')

while his movies are pretty good, they're really for the mature.

wait a couple years (i say about 17) and you should be fine.
and really some of the things you hear in a Kevin Smith movie will change your life, and not in a good way either.

Gratuitous vulgar language!
jay and silent bob (well just jay really) curses every third WORD! its crazy. The beginning of jay and silent bob strike back he makes a song composed of nothing but the f-bomb. you wouldnt really appreciate the clerks movies right now anyway. just wait a couple more years. the movies will still be around.

Actually.. I'm not sure.. I can understand why Clerks 2 might be too much.. and MAYBE.. Clerks 1.. but Mallrats, Jay and Silent Bob strike back, Dogma, and Drawing Flies shouldn't be a problem..

In my opinion Chasing Amy is safe enough as well, but I suppose that depends ..
