i would like to major in history and i want to know which universities have the best history departments. i also want to know what jobs i can get from having a major in history

history major won't do much for you in the job market, but I think a small liberal arts college is where you can talk with history professors that really understand why things happened, not just what....a small college will enable you to interact with them personally to get the really good stuff.
