this question is for my aunt!,,,,,,, she has windows xp. and her screen shuts down after about 10 min. where does she go to change this option, to keep it on longer!???? thanks.

I'll do it for you like I do it for my dad...

Click on the Start button in the bottom left of your screen
click Control Panel
then
click Performance and Maintenance
then
click Power Option
Power schemes should pop up you can adjust it from there.

Goto the desktop, right click and select Properties.
Select the Screen Saver tab. Select (None) on the screen saver. Click Apply.

Click on the Power... button. On the Power schemes select Always On. Click Ok and than Ok again in the first window.

I have XP and to change the screen saver settings, I have to go to Control Panel and then Display, and then Screen Saver. Then you can set the number of minutes either up or down. Good luck.

Click start, click control panel, click display, click screen saver & change the wait time or if its a hibernation problem, Click start, control panel, power options read this panel & look at the drop down options & if necessary click the hibernate tab for more options
