There's really no good reason, just people parroting what they have been conditioned to say. You can criticize Iran, Muslims, Iraq, Islam ect ect all day but no one will call you anything except a good American.

Telling the truth is not Anti-semetic, but Jews will never admit to that. The facts are as such that we are very intelligent people, and believe that if you can be fooled, then it is your fault for being a fool in the first place. Our job is not to hold your hand and kiss you, but to tell you what we think, and it is up to you to accept it or not. Thats it. Now, if you know the truth and throw it back, then we can have a debate, and if you are able to shut us up, then you won the argument. Its a matter of perspective, with you asking this question it shows that you are not wise enough to hold a debate, because a response such as "You are anti-emetic" will keep you from the truth, hence, i win, and you lose. Understand? So you need to stand your ground and care not what I think, but the facts are, and present them as such. Enjoy

Well, Israel as a nation is in large part defined by the religion and ethnicity that 'anti-Semites' are wont to hate. So speaking out against Isreal, in general (as opposed to pointing out flaws or failing in that nations government or policieis, for instance), could easily be construed as something an anti-Semite would do.

Why are people who hate Jews afraid of being called Anti-Semite? Either believe something that you can be proud of, or find something else to believe.

I'm unsure why anyone would speak out against a tiny sliver of democracy in a region of the world ruled with iron fisted tyranny and defunct of human rights.

Speaking out against Israel? As in the climate stinks or it is too sandy? If you mean speaking out against the people, you mean speaking out against the Jews... because they are Jewish...

Its the Isreali version of "If you don't support the war, you don't support the troops." A rhetorical device for destroying debate.

If you point to flaws in Israeli policies you are called an anti-semite to shut you up.
