how was the role of people in the goverment of england enlarged to include more than nobles or aristocrats?

The House of Commons. The other group is the House of Lords. Commons get elected, Lords appointed or inherited by family title, if I recall right. I'm not clear on exactly what actual "Power" the Lords now have, possibly not that much, but they usually have lands that go with the title. They used to also get money from the Crown (in exchange for support of the King or Queen) but that may also have eroded too.

Hmmmm....Well it starts with a P and Canada, England, Mexico, and well, most countries that stemmed from a Monarchy have one. It is very similar to our own House of Representative and our Senate only combined into one thing?
