I disagree with David. If they don't require proof of citizenship then it's the same as giving it to them.

I know you're in AZ, Lois and AZ has always been notorious for showing preference for illegal and/or migrant workers. Not only the govt. but many churches will help them quicker and better than a citizen. Temp services will give out all the jobs first to them and to others only if there are any left over. All do so under the guise of helping the truly downtrodden.

Fraudulent SSNs are easier to acquire than the government will admit. Being illegal they learn fast how to work the system. Most people know how bad Mexico is and so they feel like they're doing a greater kindness. Many republicans & others here reinforce the stereotype that all poor americans are either ignorant or lazy & unappreciative. It's always easier to help those from "over there", now here than to acknowledge the shame of poverty in your own backyard & do something about it.

That is a very good question! Write your State Senators,Your Representatives, and the White House! This is one of the biggest rippoffs in America. The Democrats waste so much of our Tax Dollars they are also trying to get these people voting rights! They figure if they can get enough people dependent on the federal government for everything they can turn us into a Communist country very fast and then only a few of them will have nice things, and they will take away all of the money that we make and redistribute it to everyone whether they worked for it or not. Then this Country will fall because communisum can only last about 50 years with out new money being feed into it. Americans need to wake up and start revolting against the dumb laws that are being made! We need to stop them from taking away our rights!!! Because it starts with a few crazy liberals bitching about something and next thing you have laws against it. If we want to keep our freedom we need to stop the democrats from taking away all of our rights.

The problems with "illegal immigration" are caused by government laws. The problems with health care are also caused by government laws. There are some people who point out the problems that hospitals are having with regard to illegal immigration. These problems are caused by laws that require hospitals to treat people regardless of their ability to pay. These costs are largely passed onto people who DO pay through higher costs. Government is not the solution to either of these issues, government is the problem. What we need is fewer laws, not more.

WELL - because they are choosing to live poor-- and are in that income guidelines..and I personally choose not to - if i wanted to i could also get free health care - and housing--but, that would be making alot less money - which I choose not to.

My question is: Why can illegals get free health care at all - if they don't make much money? they are doing something illegal (by being here) so- why are we rewarding them???

We can. There's no law preventing anyone from getting a house or healthcare. The government doesn't automatically provide these things to anyone who enters the country illegally.

Sounds like allot of republicans are answering you question.
I know what you mean.If you make a little above the cut off to get government help but not enough to matter then you are screwed.Illegals are almost always in the low income bracket. They falsify there income. If they get caught,oh well they deport them and they are back in a weak....

An illegal can walk into a hospital and demand healthcare without having his ID checked. Just like in many states, they can get driver's licenses without presenting a valid ID. It's sick. Then, of course, when it comes time to pay the tab, off they go!

What do you mean "we can't".

Anyone with a job and an ounce of self motivation can get health care and housing... Just because it isn't FREE, stop saying it isn't available...

Sorry, however that is a myth. There are NO programs that provide benefits to only illegals aliens. Some programs that are designed to assist US citizens may not require proof of citizenship however your statement is false.
