Just bloody do it for me ive tryed and tryed but..blehh..

Write me an essay about walton on the nazes coastal erosion

Inculde something and sea defences and the naze tower...

And include these 5 questions

1. Is there evidence of coastal erosion

2. What processes are causing the erosion?

3. What do people think about the probelm of coastal erosion at walton on the naze?

4. What will happen in the future?

5. Are there possible solutions to the probelm?

Stephii,

if you had asked nicely in the first place, perhaps people would have been less insulting. This is not a place for giving you the complete written solution - that would mean you have learned nothing and plagarism springs to mind!

You do need to make some / most effort yourself - but if you are seriously stuck, then why not actually say this in a more appropriate way in the original question? It almost begs for the mockery that has be placed, you sound cocky and demanding, almost like a spoiled brat; and I am sure that is not really the case. The fact that you are young is no excuse - asking nicely has never, in my experience, hurt anyone.

However, that said and done:

If you want help, look at the link below - you do need to apply a bit of thought behind what is being asked of you.

What evidence is there?............ well look at what it was like say ten years ago to now, what info is out there in the news?...........

What do you think may cause erosion? Is there any difference to the weather, are there any changes to the environment, what pollutants are around now that perhaps were not before and is there any issues with the type of earth that the Naze is made from that means it is more likely to give way?

What do you think will happen in the future? Do you think the government will step in and reinforce the area, do you think it will continue to erode until there is a reason for it to change?

Think about what you know about things that reinforce, what do you know about what is being done in the news to other places and use them as a comparison and a potential solution.

This is not about the courage of others, but about the conviction of your own ability to actually look at solving the problem you have a head of you.

Trouble is, when there is one, I'd love to give one but I can only use the internet in the library for an hour at a time and sometimes the place is packed and other times I need to do other things taking me out of the way of the library. That's my excuse, I'm not sure about the others. PS, why's the first respondent called ACE Rimmer? He sounds more like the smeghead version of Rimmer. PPS for American Idiot below. 'Arsed' means bothered in British slang (and a fagg0t's a tasty meatball which is nice to eat - oh, hold on, that doesn't clarify anything!)

For the last 250 years the headland has been dominated by the Naze Tower, built in 1721 by Trinity House long before lighthouses became commonplace. Its original purpose was to act as a marker for ships approaching the Harwich harbour, a duty which it still performs today.
For hundreds of years the Tower, known locally as ‘The Landmark’, has been a symbol of Walton’s history, and as the Naze around it is gradually lost to sea it acts as a sign of what could be lost if the sea continues to eat away at the cliffs.
The Naze itself has also been the subject of much change, its constantly diminishing coastline is a constant cause of debate. Every year two metres fall into the sea, at the current rate the Tower would be lost to the waves within 20 years.

The real old village of Walton is now nine miles out to sea on the west rocks.
Walton’s early history is one of a scattered farming community. The old name of Walton-le-Soken (still visible on the Church today) shows that the area once formed a “soke” with its neighbours Kirby and Thorpe. These villages were once owned by the Chapter of St. Paul’s Cathedral and enjoyed special privileges and powers.
Walton was much smaller than Kirby. Coastal erosion meant that much of the land, used for farming, was soon lost to the sea. The old church finally fell victim to the waves around the turn of the 19th Century.

The cliffs at walton are an example of Coastal Erosion and recent land slumps can be seen along it. The cliffs are eroding at a rate of approximately 2 metres per year.
