We have B Linksys that works fine...but my 605 WiFi doesn't recognize it...does anyone know how the Linksys should be adjusted?

I am not familiar with B Lynksys and you don't mention what O.S. you have, but if you have Windows Xp, you can go to your control panel, click internet options, click the connections tab, click LAN settings and click the automatically detect box.
Click all apply and ok tabs at the bottom on your way out and you should be ready to go!

Now you will need the directions how to access your linksys, like the wizard program or typing 192.168.1.1 in your browser, provided you havn't changed it, and your password, and in my settings is a "mode" selection, being "b only" "g only" and "mixed" to determine what kind of signals it is allowed to receive. It might be set to b only and you might need Mixed. I hope yours has these settings, mine is rather new
