how do i volunteer for a Veterinary Place im only 13 and I LOVE ANIMALS ALOT i use to want to be a Vet but i wasnt sure until my Tragic Loss of my Cat Picky Yesterday that died in my arms and made my realize that alot of animals die like that all the time and i want to volunteer to Help Animals in anyway i can because i feel i have a good connection with animals and i love them so much and it hurts to see an animal hurt or Die when they could be saved i live in New Hampshire i know i can jsut call the vet but will they take a 13 year old? i will do anyhting i can to help animals please help

Wether or not a vet will take you as a volunteer depends on the individual vet/clinic. I don't think many of them will take you though.. Some vets don't take volunteers at all. You're a liability. You could sue if someones dog bit you.

If you really want to help out animals go volunteer at your local shelter. They need people much much more than the local vets do. You can do a lot of good for the animals by volunteering at the shelter.

Edit: Not all shelters require you to be 16. The ones where I grew up required you to be 12. It all depends on the area you live in and the individual shelter.

All you can do is see some vets and see if they will let you come in and OBSERVE. There is not a lot of volunteer jobs at a vet hospital. You can also try a shelter. Some take kids your age.
