Romney is the best business man in the field of candidates from both parties.
Wall Street thinks he the best business man in North America. He is the only one in the bunch that we can look to for economic growth. Even a novice businessman can see that.
There is no question that he has the experience and talent to deal with it and not hand over the country to a one world government/economy.
The rest aren't even talking about it. They are hung up on Bush and the war.
Here's my only question. Beyond the practical, what the country needs now is inspiration. I'm not sure he can inspire people but, I'll with hold my judgement for now. One thing is certain, the other candidates with the possible exceptions of Giuliani and Huckabee have demonstrated that they can only inspire segments of us most none at all. Hillary is just disgusting. I don't know how else to characterize her but she does inspire a core group of Americans, that must be conceded. The rest are just no longer relevant. They are little more than amusing.

No, I do not! I would like to see Fred Thompson become the next President, but he has drawbacks.
1. He owes nothing to the All Mighty Big Companies, including big oil, or to any Millionaires who buy the candidates.
2. He is almost too honest in answering all questions put to him. He tells you what he thinks, feels, and what he believes needs to be done to correct the problems in Government.
Because of these drawbacks, he lacks the money to fight against the Clintons, and the rest of the RICH POLITICIANS who owe their souls to others who own them.
He is the only Person who is running for President of the United States, that will owe his total loyalty to the People of the United States of American, and to NO OTHERS!

If it were possible to predict the future of the economy, economists would be rich. I've never heard one make a clear prediction.
I will probably vote in '08 - I have not in the previous 2 presidential elections because I didn't care enough for the candidates.

Well, simply put, I could live with all of them except 3. Ron Paul, Barack Obama and Hilliary Clinton. Ron Paul is a nutcase on foreign policy and both Obama and Hilliary are hardcore Socialists bordering on Communists. They would run this country right into the ground.
I rather perfer either Giuliani or Romney. Both are moderate and actually have good ideas about how to lead this country. Unlike some I could mention.

In all honesty, present political candidates started way to early campaigning. It seem to me, that as soon as the elections are over, the newly elected officials begin campaigning for the next election four years hence instead of concentrating on the jobs they were elected for.
Six month of campaigning should be enough.

I was leaning heavily towards Rudy, but I have settled on Romney.
I think the guy is extremely intelligent and most importantly adaptable.
He has a great economic track record, and he is well informed about our most serious national security threat since WWII. Radical Islam.

The dollar is weak and getting weaker. Every politician says this is because the government has not spent enough on __________ (insert pet-project and/or campaign contributor interests here).
Of course, the international investors who are contributing to the dollar decline say that we're sinking because we've been living out of our means for way too long and are unwilling to accept that fact and adjust accordingly.
Its still a long way to the bottom!

I have said it many times already, right now this election looks like I'll have to vote against someone instead of for someone.
