I'm curious. I've been to a lot of states, but I don't know which one to like best. I like Texas and Maine. I think Illinois is boring, along with the Dakotas. Am I Right?

my fave state is California, because I have from there. it is home. it also has every out door sport activity known to man kind from the beach, mountains, desert, everything all with in driving distance. My other faves are New York and Massachusetts. Partly because they remind me of California.
the most boring states to me are Nebraska, Dakotas, and Indiana. Nebraska and ND/SD just have nothing there. land as far as the eye can see. Indiana is one big strip mall. nothing but shopping center after shopping center. Not a whole lot of museums or culture. Just over all very dull.
Most athletic places to me places like Colorado, Oregon, California. due things like running (Oregon), skiing (Colorado), and pretty much anything in California. They are among the top healthiest/fittest states in the country.

Tough question, I`ve been to 42 states so far, so I can not really give an unbiased reply.
My favourite states are New Hampshire, Vermont, Oregon and Virginia, because I just love the nature.
Boring...well, I don`t want to offend anyone, but Oklahoma, Kansas and New Jersey were pretty dull.
I don`t really get what you mean by athletic - probably the state with a lot of outdoor/sports possibilities? Then I`d say Colorado and California.
