I'd gotten a Huffy when I wanted a Schwinn.
(not to change speeds on you,
hope it didn't grind your gears.)

I have learned over the course of time that those who constructively criticize me or push me to do better do so because they care and want me to do better. I used to get "huffy" but now being in my 30s I am thankful for the family members and supervisors who challenged be to do more and become more because as a result I became a stronger and better person.
Also Proverbs 27:14 states as iron sharpens iron so one man sharpens another. Meaning that a person who really loves you will tell you where you fall short and where you need to improve and will tell you when you do wrong because they care.
One last note your enemies are your greatest teachers as well as the difficult and obstinate people in your life because they are the ones that make you grow in life they are the ones who hurt and offend you yes BUT they are the ones that make you stronger and more capable of handling and doing more.

I can stand just so much critisism before i start blocking it out or becoming defensive.
I've done a lot of self-analysis, corrected my major faults and do my best to be tolerant of other folks feelings and opinions.
My harshest critics I view as being more flawed than myself, and I can, in my own mind, justify my behavior while disregarding their advice (while maintaining most of my tolerance for such).
Honestly, some consider me arrogant, but I don't equate arrogance with self-satisfaction.

i can get a bit huffy, depends how & by whom the criticism is given
mostly i try to remain calm, tell myself everyone doesn't have the same taste, everyone has their own opinion, and i actually do like input to improve myself so that i'm not a pain in the @ss

I take it like a woman.. but inside i feel pissed off. But I dont say a thing..that is the way I am. Easy to get along with even though some crap gets in the way but I never say a word.

If it's honest criticism meant to help me in some way, then yes. As long as it's done gently and tactfully... otherwise, I'll get upset. I get hurt very easily and tend to take things very personally.

I like to think that I take criticism well and when I receive it I take it graciously, but secretly it turns me inside out. I hate when someone knows something about me that I don't know.

I don't mind constructive criticism, but if you're just going
to sit there and put me down, I'm not going to take that.
God Bless.

I don't mind someone voicing their opinion or telling me honestly that they do not like something for whatever reason.
I just don't appreciate people that are nasty all the time and then act like you have the problem.
