The election of the next US president takes place in November 2008 and they will assume the office in Jan 2009. The winner will probably be either Hillary Clinton or Rudy Guiliani as it stands today but a lot can happen in a year.

Nobody, that was a local election. The presidential election is next year. Don't you think you would have heard who our next president was going to be on the news or something?
