You know BC, I wasn't impressed with Queens of the Stone Age either. I like their music enough, but they just stood there.

The Strokes- I've seen My Chemical Romance live and I thought they put on a good show. Even if you don't really like their music, there is plenty going on to keep you amused.

Actually MCR aren't all that bad live, they know how to work the crowd and have a lot of energy. The worst part of the show is the mass of 12 year olds screaming in your ear. I saw them when Muse opened for them.
I've seen Queens of the Stone Age 3 times opening for other bands (NIN and Zwan) and I wasn't impressed with their performance at any of the shows.
When MTV had their joke of an awards show this year I saw FOB on there and they were horrendous. I couldn't watch more than 5 seconds of it. The guy can't sing AT ALL.

I've seen Papa Roach a couple of times at festival shows and they suck.........its so bad I cringe

The Dresden Dolls.....I've seen them a couple of times (again at festival shows......including the one where they launched their tenure on the national stage at Ozzfest) .......again, shudder

The Black Crowes.......musically they were awesome, but they lacked interaction with the audience and each other......it definitely took away from the performance

Dropkick Murphys......they have a great energy and try to engage the audience, but the vocals are horrible live..........I always have to have at least two drinks in me before they go on stage

I've never seen a good live performance by, or heard of anybody who thinks Panic! at th Disco plays well live.

Strangely, I've also heard that Rod Stewart is horrible live.

I've heard from some very disappointed attendees of a Gym Class Heroes concert. I told them so!

MCR and FOB are really bad I heard ( you'd think, right!)

The White Stripes(just jack, really) are(is) amazing on their(his) instruments(instrument) live, but the vocals are not as pleasant

I can't speak them for them personally but I often hear that Death Cab For Cutie live in concert could put you to sleep. Wispy indie bands don't translate well in person.

The best band I ever saw in concert
Rush...they were technically perfect, awesome show
The worst band I ever saw in concert
The Deftones...what a horrifically bad show. They got booed out of the arena, and deservedly so.

Atreyu was horrible when I saw them, and I've heard numerous accounts where they were bad from people I've talked to at miscellaneous shows.
