I keep having contradictory findings is the thing.

Do they like romantic kind of guys or not?

why so?

Do they like guys to act half interested and "be a challenge"???
(I thought this was the girls role)

See the thing is, I dont know if this girls was normal or not, but I played no games in letting her know I Was interested in her, but the more I showed it, the more she played games with me.

Finally she called me a "Big Lassie" , meaning a girl.

I dont understand it.

What the hell am I suppose to do??

Girls are complicated creatures, there really is no right or wrong way to go after one. Make sure she knows you're interested, but don't go calling her 24/7 or stalking her at work or anything. Let her think about you and pine for you for a couple days, or even a week before coming around. Romance is nice, but hold that until after you two are an item otherwise you may seem too pushy. Maybe even try flirting with other girls in her presence to make her jealous.

My ideal guy would be someone i can be my true self around, with out being judged. Its nice to feel protected by your man to, i don't mean having punch ups in the street at every given chance-can't stand guys that do that. Someone easy going, fun, funny. I'm not really a girl who likes to be wined & dined in fancy resturants, i'd rather have a bag of chips a nice walk & a laugh, thats more romantic to me & relaxed.
Be your self, most people put on a front to begin with, but you can't be someone your not forever. Start as you mean to go on :-)

Honest, romantic, trustworthy, kind and loyal. As for guys being a challenge no prefer them to seem at least half interested if not more.

Edit: I always say just be yourself and don't try too hard and if that doesn't work then obviously it wasn't meant to me.

i want my guy to be attractive, a rocker dude to rock out w/ me, he has to be funny, has to love animals and allow me to have animals, i like romantic guys but not too romantic cuz then i think thats just cheesy, i want the guy to open doors for me and pull out my chair, i really like guys who are a challenge and i kinda like jerks, i dunno why, but not a complete jerk or a jerk to me at all, just to other people.

you are probly overwhelming her w/ your kindness and your ways of showing you like her. forget once in a while to not call her and have her play the game she's playing on you. i mean do be a jerk to her, but if you are all out showing you really like her, that can get kinda creepy somtimes, or thats how it is to me. find somthin that you don't have in common to talk to her about and you'll find somthin that gives you two some competition between you tow and spark up our relation ship, i dunno if this will work for you, but if i was her, i would becom closer to you if you did that, but im a very strange girl and im not like every girl, im very different*
