Both are rewritable but the DL stands doe Dual Layer. Basically you can burn twice as much info on the same size disc. Both the burner and the CD has to say DL.

DVD+RW is thing by which we can only burn a DVD of 4GB
but with DL DVD+RW u can burn a DVD of 8 GB
i think that would help u.

DL is duel layer and cost a lot more then just plain dvd+rw.Can get aloty more on the DL but not worth the cost to me.
