Half-watching Lena Olin, Raoul Julia, Alan Arkin and Robert Redford in the movie Havana, behind me on Encore, in the mirror, after half-watching Anthony Hopkins, Julia Ormond, Aiden Quinn and Brad Pitt in Legends of the Fall, wondering which shoes to wear tomorrow.

It's 4:30 in California and I'm still working.... Yes, not ALL seniors are retired. I have a few years to go. Hope to retire before my Grampa did. He spent 50 years on the RR (Wabash), retired at 65 and was dead at 67. NOT a good way to spend his retirement year(s).

Anyway, I go a woodworking class that I'm going to this evening. Going to make some birdhouses for the Botanical Gardens Holiday Marketplace this weekend.

I spent the afternoon in a therapy pool learning how to work with my right side paralyzed husband so I can do it alone with him. Then we ran a few errands and went out for dinner. After we got home I jumped on the computer and I've have been here every since.

Answering some questions on here from time to time, watching TV, trying to do a little house cleaning in my little 8 X 30 travel trailer (yes that is what I live in), and also playing with 5 baby kittens until they get big enough to be able to go outside (they lost their mom). So I am busy until it is time for me to go to bed as I have to get up early in the morning and go to work.

Not a senior but can I answer? My son and I have been running errands most of today, grocery shopping, getting my tire fixed, picking up a prescription, stopped for lunch and we're just now settling down back home again.

It's 5:59 PM here in South Central TX so I guess I'll listen to the news then decide what to fix for dinner.

Had a large "free" dinner so it may just be a cold cut sandwich.

I am getting ready for work. It is 7:40 and I have to be there at 8:30. I don't want to go. I know I am going to miss something on here if I leave. LOL

I just got through working on a yard project, checking my investments online, and giving a child some good advice. Now, I'm sipping a good glass of wine and enjoying the smell of chicken frying.
