My personal preferences are irrellevant, I live in a nation with under the Rule of Law, violence is not an option.

At least, I've never found a reason for violence so compelling that it'd be worth the jail time.

Violent Dialogue, if you can make the point that your position implies a better chance of survival, most people agree with you.
One of the best examples of this is from the movie "The Patriot" with Mel Gibson and Heath Ledger.
Heath Ledger plays the son bent on joining the colonial forces, Mel Gibson plays his father who has seen the horror of war. As Ledger rides to return to the colonial army, he finds himself in an upstairs room of an abandon house which affords a view of the battle just outside the house. His father finds him and analyzes the battle, and correctly predicts the loss of the colonials while they die quite brutally outside. If his son doubted his fathers fighting abilities before this pivotal event in the movie, he did not afterwards.
Fact based eloquence is the ultimate weapon,,,

People who can't use dialogue properly are hard to speak with, violence is the only way forward in these cases.
Ah, hell! cut with the excuses, I like a good fight it clears things up good and proper.

At first the dialogue but when it proves to be useless as in the radical Muslims then the violence is all you have left and the ONLY thing they know.

A wooden stake through the heart usually drives the point home. I love the part whey they wake up screaming and then turn to dust and bones right before my eyes.

My dialog works best with the point of a large gun. As long as their eyesight works, then there is no violence. LOL
