Ok the coordinates are (5,3) and (2,6)...

now i checked it on a graph and i got 3/3 but when I do
m=6-5/2-3...I get 1/-1 and not 3. What am i doing wrong? or am i doing it right?

You're doing the m = incorrectly. It's change in y/change in x =
6 - 3 / 2 - 3
= 3 / -1

= -3

That's right!

m=6-3/2-5 or
3/-3 which is -1.
3/3=1 which is the opposite of -1.
If the line you drew goes from upper left to lower right, the slope is negative. You probably just looked at your graph incorrectly

You calculated the slope incorrectly.

slope = (6-3)/(2-5)

the slope of a line is given by (y1-y2)/(x1-x2); in your problem
m = (3-6)/(5-2) = (-3)/3 = -1

because you're supposed to do 6-3/2-5.
