Falen Kate (for a girl)
Landon Rhett (for a boy)

Falen would be pronounced like Fallon (Fah-lynn)

I would love for "Kay" to be in the name Kate, because it's my nana's name. BUT Kayte looks like "Kay-tee" and that's not right.

Suggestions?

i like the name Falen Kate but personally spell falen "Fallon" because it will always be misspelled and being someone with a name spelt different than most people think it is spelled..it gets annoying to constantly correct people and see your name in things such as your own yearbook spelled incorrectly. as for the middle name kate you can try to spell it "Kayt" instead of "kayte" because then it probably wont be pronounced "kay-tee" but i would leave the kate part alone but thats just my opinion. hope i helped! best of luck!

oh and for the boy i love the name landon! good choice!

First its your kid so if u really like it go for it, But if you are just asking to get options first Falen looks like falling and its a kid. You don;t want the kids name to be too off the wall were no one can say it right or pronounce it. Second Kate Love it but Falen No just no, its a last name and if anything a boys name. It is pronounced like a girls name but spelled like a boys. Landon really popular right now but its find isn't great doesn't suck. Rhett can you say Gone with the wind!

I like Landon but I would try and find other middle names like Landon James or Landon John

I don't really like the name Falen for a girl....at first i had thought it was a boys name, which I think works. If you want to incorporate Kay then you might want to just have the middle name be Kay. I know some people with that middle name.

I really like Landon, but not to go with Rhett. It should be paired with a more regular name like "michael" to give it a good balance. I don't like Falen very much, but that is just my taste ( I watch too much dynasty I guess). Name her middle name Katherine. It is a different name than Kate, but really not that different. And it links with "kay" because, we all no many are named "kay" as a short for Katherine. It is like using an in between of Kate and Kay, that is also a form of your "nana's" name.

IMHO, Falen is pretty awful. I'd say it "fallen." As in, I've falen and I can't get up. What's worse, it also sounds like "failing."

If you must go with that name, stick with Fallon Kate. The changed spelling is problematic at best.

And Kay and Kate are both short forms of Katherine, so I think you've still honored your nana quite nicely.

Landon is nice.

Too many people will read the name Falen and say "fallen" and she may get teased like "woah im fallen down".. and things like that. I like Kate though... and you say it 'kay"t anyway. How about Kate Faighlynn of something like that?

I love the name Landon!! and yes Landon Rhett sounds great!

I really like the name Landon...but Falen doesn't work. It sounds more like a boy's name.

Leave Kate alone. It's already pronouced with the Kay sound. So you are paying tribute.
I have to say I don't like Falen. It makes me think of Fallen. As in "I've fallen and I can't get up."
