I have an 88 s10 with a mildly modified 350. right now i have a full length exhuast system with turn downs on it. It sounds good but, lately it started leaking exhuast out of the passenger side header at the collecter. Its really loud but i grown to like it and would like to have my truck as loud as possible without running straight headers. Any suggestions?

you have headmen headers don't you?

this is a problem with those headers and can be fixed with the uses of aluminum collector gaskets, you will never have this problem again if you use those gaskets.

and or to making loud or louder then it is now once you come off the headers go to 3in pipes in to a set of flow masters super 40 series or the full race muffler delta force 30 series or if cost isn't problem then would go with borla xr-1s but they cost around $275.oo each, but remember to use an H-pipe in this as your 350CID is only mild modified, the H-pipe will help build low end torque.

In my opinion the best sounding mufflers are the flowmaster 40 series 2 chamber. My second choice would be the dynomax bullett race mufflers.

Try some performance "straight through flow" mufflers.
They sound great and will still port the exhaust out the back.

straight flow mufflers are called "glass pacs". they sound good but check to see if they are legal in your area
