Certainly it is. Are you a racist or something? You should be ashamed of even asking such a question. You know, we all have to work at promoting racial harmony in this world. People like you who raise such a question are not helping one bit.

What do you mean by "isn't the same race"? There are no different races that can be defined among humans. It is impossible to do so. Do you mean that this friend is a different height from you? Or has different hair, eye or skin colour? These are all minor genetic variations between humans. There are much greater cultural variations depending on nationality, religion etc. It is these differences that make friendships between people so interesting.

If you are judging someone on skin colour then you are a racist and not a person any self-respecting person would want as a friend.

You bet you are wrong! It is obvious that you were hoping this online chatting would develop into something more. The fact that race has now become an issue shows you are a bigot. Leave this person alone to find someone who has a better attitude to the different race and cultures of our world.

yes that means you are judging her by her race if she was the same race as you wouldn't you still talk to her that means you are a undercover racist. Race shouldn't determine why or what you like a bout a person. What you found out is that you had a perfectly good relationship with someone till you based it on race that's wrong you should judge her by your friendship not race.

yes that is wrong and quite sad. So after 2 years just because they are a different race you think differently of her??
You should start asking yourself why and then realize that obviously race wasn't and isn't a factor in friendship.

wrong?

it's sad. you have spent two years chatting with this person, and have grown to think of them as a friend. getting to know them from the inside out, as you tend to get to know a person while chatting.

now you are finally getting to the outside of the person. the color of their skin. something that hadn't evened seemed considerable during your friendship up to now. the part of the person that should mean the most to you seems to be the least valued. while the part that should matter the least, the color of their skin seems way too important.

sad. and ironic. think about it.

For the love of heaven, grow up! Race is race! Who cares what race a person is as long as they're good people?

You think differently of her because she is not the same race as you and you are asking if it's wrong? Good God.

I agree with the others...this is really sad. Shame on you. I hope you work through your issues because you sure as hell have them.

This is one of the dumbest things i have read in quite a while. Are you actually serious about this and if you are does it make your head hurt to try and figure out what is wrong with this.

Yes, it's wrong of you. What difference does it make what race she is?
