All the sudden he vetoes a spending bill? This is the same guy that wouldn't veto anything while we were breaking all those domestic spending records.

President Bush is no conservative. To me, pork is pork is pork. I oppose big government politicians whether they have an "R" beside their name or a "D" beside their name. The Republican Party once stood for something. It was once a party of small government. It no longer is. I was once a Republican because I wanted to get the government out of people's lives. I am now a Libertarian because I want to get government out of people's lives. If Bush has suddenly started to become "somewhat" fiscally conservative I call this a positive step regardless of his motivation.

Bush cant win.

If he signs it, the Dems blast him for more spending.

If he vetoes it, the Dems blast him for not spending.
