I love all three, and at different times of my life I think I would have picked each as my favorite.
But for years now Jeff Beck is #1 for me.

Eric is very versatile no matter what he plays, while still retaining that obvious blues style in his solos that have become his trademark.

Jimmy is fantastic too, and he's pretty much always been a blues/rock lead guitarist, though he's perfectly capable of captivating the listener on the acoustic guitar as well.

But Jeff Beck on the other hand blows me away, and his ability to switch genres so effortlessly is very impressive.
Jeff has done this quite frequently throughout his career, and I feel this may have hindered his popularity over the years. Many Jeff Beck fans tend to like one or two phases from his career; His earlier stuff with Rod Stewart, his 2nd phase with Cozy Powell, his 3rd phase with Bogert and Appice, his 4th phase with jazz fusion, or his more recent experimental phase in the 90's. Had Jeff not been quite so adventurous, he might have kept more of his fan base, or appealed to a wider audience. That never bothered me, as I love everything the man has done, regardless of style.
I think the guitarist that had the most impact on both Jeff Beck
and Jimmy Page would be Eric Clapton. Eric influenced practically every aspiring guitarist in the 60's including Ritchie Blackmore, Peter Green, Dave 'Clem' Clempson, Peter Frampton, Mick Box, Tony Iommi, Martin Barre, Mick Taylor, the list is endless. But as far as a guitarist having the most impact on rock music (based on the three at hand) after 1975 or thereabouts, it would most definitely be Jimmy Page.
In fact if you would have asked me this question in the early 1970's I would have chose Jimmy Page as the greatest of the three. They all have a place in rock music history as legends...tough question, but I'm sticking with Jeff Beck!

I think I only know 1 song by The Yardbirds :)

I love some of Jeff Beck's solo work, Eric Clapton both solo and with Cream, but I think my vote has to go to Jimmy Page.

Jimmy is definately the most influential for me, and others...
~ pianist Tori Amos once commented in an interview that :~
"I wanted to do on a piano what Jimmy Page did on a guitar"

Jimmy Page, only because I am a die-hard Led Zeppelin fan. Some people think that Jimmy Page ripped off black people but I want to kick those people in the face because its pure crap.
He is one of my favorite guitarist, anyone who can come up with something like Stairway To Heaven and the chords to The Rain Song and uugh. I get all excited just talking about him. Clapton is great, but Page is unfathomably fantastic.

I definately know all three, they are all legends! But the most popular one is definately Eric Clapton, although Jimmy Page is reallllly good too, but three fantastic guitar players definately came from The Yardbirds.

You know EC gets my vote--I loved the fact that he was such a "Non Front Man" in those days and he was so talented--yet shy.

And not only is he a GREAT guitarist but also a GREAT singer & songwriter!!!!

You have it give it to him--he's God!!! lol

If Jimmy Page didn't rip so many bands off I would lean towards him but I am going with Clapton.
