Remember when doing percents

X/100= is/of

So set up like
42/100 = X/36y
cross multiply to get

1512/100 = 15.12y%

36y x .42 = 15.12y (there you go!)

42% is the same as 0.42 so 0.42 * 36y is 15.12y
