my daughter is 3 1/2 months and her stomatch still makes the grumble sound as when she was born, i never quite understood it either, i told her doc, he just said it was nothing to worry about.

as for the amount your baby is eating, try switching his bottle nipples he may just not know how to handle the ones you are giving him, my daughter was the same, doc told me to used latex nipples with a curve, havent had any problems yet.

Good luck to you and your little one.

Sounds like he has gas, get him some gas drops, and recheck the formula or bottle. He's got too much air in him. The formula might be too hard on his belly.

Mylacon drops are excellent for this. Also, be sure to feed him before he's crying, so he's not sucking air freaking out wanting to eat.

This sounds a lot like reflux, or possibly a food allergy. Check for blood in his stool - that could indicate a food allergy and you'd need to see your ped and probably switch to a different formula. If it's reflux though, a pretty sure indicator is if there is arching during the feed, right around the time you hear the gurgles and the anger. It could also be frustration with the nipple size - he may be ready for a bigger nipple, though he seems a bit young for that. But if he's arching a lot during feeds, it's probably reflux. Talk to your ped, and possibly see a pediatric GI.

Talk with your Dr. the baby could have acid reflux, very common in preemies. You say bottles but bottles of what? Maybe the formula is not working for you little one or if it is acid reflux and your pumping milk into the bottle for them, you need to watch what you eat. Hope all gets better my twins had acid reflux but the dr. put them on meds that helped :)

It sounds like it is upsetting his stomach. You may need to try a soy based formula. It won't hurt him, and if that is the problem you will notice a difference within a day or two. If you are using breast milk try eliminating dairy from your diet for a few days.
