That depends on who is doing the asking....but under normal circumstances, I only have to be asked once.

All of the time. I have a routine at work, and will be getting ready to do something. As I'm actually starting it, my boss will come over and ask me to do it, even tho, it's obvious I'm ALREADY doing it. It drives me NUTS!!!

When it comes to my job, I always seem to be "on the ball". I never usually have to be told to do anything at work, but when I am asked to do something, I usually snap to it.
At home, no one asks me to do anything except my daughter, so in that case, yes, when she "screams" I act quickly.

I get asked to do things once if it's something I want to do, or twice if it's not!
