It's not rude. You're Dutch, Angela. Stop pretending to be Italian.
There, done.

Just a point but as a fellow European would it be rude for me to go to one of my neighbours and tell him he is too black to be British?
The colour of ones skin while possibly hinting at your ethnicity, can in no way on earth be an indication of your nationality.
He may well have Middle Eastern heritage while being a fully fledged born and bred Italian. Or have I missed something and has Italy just become the most racist country on the planet?
Yes it's very rude and judging by your arrogance probably not based on a shred of factual knowledge.

If you do it in a tastfull way it wont be if it really does bother you. But maybe he really does have some italian in his ancestory and he wishes to play up that part of him becuase of discrimination. My son who is blonde haired and blue eyed is Irish and Native American, he chooses to call himself Native American. He also gets told not to lie (and he isn't) Once a teacher tried to call him out on it until my father picked him up from school one day and toldthat teacher what was what. Just becuase you see one thing doesn't mean that the other isn't there too. So just talk to him and say, look, It is bothering me that you are telling people you are italian and I was wondering if you may have it in your background becuase you look distinctely Middle eastern, I am not trying to sterotype you but I prefer someone to be themselves rather than pretend they are something they aren't. Good Luck with the situation, I hope it all works out for the best.

I happen to have a best friend thats italian. She has a child with a cuban. Being that the child lives with his mother and speaks no spanish (barely knows her father, go figure she's italian j/k), her child will grow up probaly saying she's italian. Stupid people like you will judge her based on her skin color. I feel that if you eat meatballs and spaghetti and canoli (however you spell it) for thanksgiving, most likely your italian. Leave the man alone

Used to know a Navajo that liked to pretend he was Mexican. I KNOW he came from the reservation. I think he had some abusive parents or something else happened. He hates his own blood for some reason.

It isn't so much that he wants people to think he is Italian, it is that he does not want people to know he is Middle Eastern.
He is probably tired of having people think he has a bomb in his shoe, or is part of some terrorist cell.
I wouldn't say anything to him. Let him work through his own anxieties, and let him be.

He definetely is Italian. You're just too stupid to realize that. God, you need to get a life. I swear that you're pretending to be racist to stir people up.
BTW, I know you're so jealous of me Andretti. Because, I'm black and you're not. You wish that you could have skin like mine and hair like mine. I know for a fact that you stay up all night crying because you can never get a good tan and your mom won't let you braid your hair. Everyone knows that Angela Andretti desperately wants to be like me. She even steals afro wigs from stores and wears them when she thinks no one is looking. We see you, Andretti, we see you. You even steal brown foundation for CVS and wear it to bed. ANGELA ANDRETTI wishes she were black like me.
I wonder if you know what satire means Andretti.

It is rude to talk about someone behind their back and to tell people things about him, how do you know he isn't Italian with middle eastern parents or something? maybe you should talk to him, in a polite way, out of interest??

I know it's annoying for you to see him flirting with other women, but calling his bluff too soon out of frustration won't do anything to endear him to you. Too much honesty too soon can fizzle the flames of amore. Just be patient and charming; at least you know that he doesn't have a problem with Italians, or he wouldn't claim that he was one too.
