What is wrong supporting the Nazi's ?

This IS whats wrong with supporting the Nazi's...

When the Nazis came for the communists,
I remained silent;
I was not a communist.

When they locked up the social democrats,
I remained silent;
I was not a social democrat.

When they came for the trade unionists,
I did not speak out;
I was not a trade unionist.

When they came for the Jews,
I remained silent;
I wasn't a Jew.

When they came for me,
there was no one left to speak out.

(Pastor Martin Niemöller 1892–1984)

Do you believe that they will not come for YOU once in power ?

A warning never to sit on the fence… We should remember lest we forget and the atrocities of History repeat…….

I'm speaking as a Scot with an African daughter-in-law and racially mixed grandchildren, i would be very concerned at any upsurge in support for the BNP or similar organisations.The poem you quote is so true, and an apt description of the human tendency to at times " look away "or bury our heads in the sand.

They will come for anyone who does not think like them. That is the essence of the totalitarian and authoritarian way of thinking. No matter how the BNP may dress up their ideology it is racist and Nazi inspired.

Thank you for posting Pastor Niemoller's words. They are as relevant today as when he uttered them. We should never forget the events that inspired them nor allow those events to be repeated - especially in our green and pleasant land.

The Nazis have the right to believe anything they want to believe. It was their actions which gave the world the right to destroy them.

If you want to support their right to exist, or to protest, I'm with you. But I do not support any action they may take which is detrimental to others.
