Would it be illegal of me to post a ad in Facebook or Criagslist about my house being on the market? I'm asking this because it is already with Howard Hannah

No, it's not illegal to advertise your home for sale in addition to what Howard Hanna Real Estate does. However, I certainly would use caution in not placing an address on either of those services. Use only a general neighborhood address descriptor.

Facebook and Craiglist can attract some very weird people. If they know your address, you could be inviting trouble.

Sure you can advertise it. Your agent will probably want you to put their contact information on the ad, and make sure you have all the required information (agency name and such). And don't violate any of the Fair Housing Act requirements.

Sure you can advertise your home as much as you would like. No agent will ever get mad if you want to help in the advertising.
