well, i know that masturbation doesnt cause blindness, but im wondering why do people say that???
does it have something to do with losing semen

It was a scare tactic to stop people from doing it. It was a way for the churches of the world to control sexuality.

For thousands of years, people have equated masturbation with sin, not understanding that it was a natural human drive.
To prevent this supposed sin, people used guilt. When that didn't work, they used a tactic that sounded medical to give it more credibility.
