Right now I think its scifi as no one has been able to do it. It took several hundred attempts to clon the sheep Dolly and the results were an aged sheep due likely to the degradation of the telomeres of the chromosomes.

Right now most countries have bans on human cloning. I believe most people don't understand that I will not have a twin next to me next week but it will be a baby. Things that also effect the twinness is the ova used, and the uterine environment will effect development.

Morally speaking, I hope we never do it. I can just envision organ farms etc... sounds kinda of Nazish to me

I see no point in it. A genetic identical will not be the same person, since every single second of life experience shapes who and what we are, and it's impossible to duplicate that. So if it's going to be a totally unique individual, why not just procreate one?

Don't. The real ones are stupid enough, why do we need duplicates?
