I know we're not used to an honest man with a long proven record of integrity to be running for president, but I think we'd be fools to pass up a rare opportunity like this. A REAL American, an intelligent man, a man of courage and service. It really does go against what most politicans stand for, but we're due for a guy who's not the typical politician. We deserve a caring leader who;s not in any pockets. We really need Ron Paul.

He has kooky ideas, like:
Close the Dept of Education - Darn, now the local taxes that pay for your schools will be spent as the teachers decide, not a monolithic centralized authority.

Close the CIA - Darn, no more overthrowing third world governments without the knowledge of the Congress. And what's this idea of moving foreign intelligence gathering under the branch of the Army? The army has nothing to do with foreign intelligence. What a kooky idea.

Introduce currency that is based on commodities - Darn, now the Treasury can't print up new money when they have budget shortfalls, causing the value of the dollar to decrease and thus prices to increase! Darn! Now my money will increase in value over time rather than decrease!

Abolish the Income Tax - Geez, just when I was getting comfortable handing over 25% of my paycheck to the federal government, now this kook wants me to have all this extra money?! Why, this guy acts as if he's a laureate of a respected academic institution of economics like the Mises Institute! What a kook!

No way. Ron Paul is a Libertarian, not a Republican. He is running as Rep. because Libertarians don't stand a chance. No offense. He doesn't support the Fair Tax. This time there are two Rep. Candidates that support the Fair Tax. Just think, no more IRS. You keep your whole pay check. No more filing and less head aches. Also, his principles are not realistic.

I support him for House of Representatives 2008!!!

He is too valuable in his current position to be snatched from the 14th Congressional District in Texas. I vote to keep Ron Paul employed as a Texas Congressman. They have elected him 10 times already so they must really think he is special. To put Ron Paul in the White House would deprive Texas of the leadership in Congress they have continuously voted for.

As Captain Spock of the USS Enterprise once said: " Logic dictates that the needs of the many (Congress' 14th District voters of Texas) outweigh the needs of the few (2.6% voting population supporting his run for the presidency) or the one (me)."

We have eight other GOP candidates who could represent the nation in the White House at least as good as Ron Paul. But nobody other than Ron Paul for that important House of Representatives seat in Texas.

Let us not punish Texas by stripping them of their only choice for representation in the House in 2008. I vote to allow the voters of the 14 congressional district to reelect Ron Paul to the House of Representatives in 2008.

I also support Ron Paul. But I do believe he is for spell check and for punctuation.

It amazes me just how many Ron Paul supporters post here daily. It seems almost unnatural... Actually, it is!

Ron Paul is a Kook.

Sorry....... I do think he has a few great ideas... but he also has many that are way to kooky.

He also acts to kooky.

I am a republican and traditionalist, and I just find him to be, did I say.... Kooky.
