I am interested in who Americans are going to vote for, there seems to be a few candidates around. Some people don't like Hilary, why is this? what about Barak? and the republican side? What are the policies of those candidates that you agree with and disagree with? And would an african-american get elected and if so would it be dangerous for him or not? How do you feel? Thanks.

If you really want to know how Americans intend to vote, and what they think of the candidates, try a polling site, such as galluppoll.org.

You probably won't get a representative sample here.

I intend to vote for John Edwards in the democratic primary.

I don't like Hilary because she's corporate-owned, and will just sell us down the river a little less than the Republicans will.

I like Barak, but wish he'd waited until he had more experience under his belt.

I'm pretty sure the people who would not vote for him because of his race is a fairly small minority, who wouldn't vote for him anyway. Most Americans aren't racist.

Dangerous?

These days, the president is pretty well protected. There are no guarantees, of course.

I look forward to our current Criminal in Cheif leaving office; he has been an unmitigated disaster for both the US and the world. I hate him more than I can say.

I had wanted Colin Powell in the last election and was disappointed that he didnt run. I think Barak Obama is still a little young and inexperienced. I give him maybe two more elections and he might be ready. It's too soon for me to decide who I'll vote for. We havent even had the conventions and a lot can happen between now and then. I'm an independent voter and I try not to think of the candidates as being any particular party. Some people dont like Hillary because they think she is too liberal. I hate to say this, but I think we'll have a black president long before we have a woman in office.

I as a "getting there" civilized European Scot can only give an observation. Barak seems to me to be the only candidate on offer .If elected he would indicate to the rest of the global community that American voters have rejected the aggressive policies of current and previous administrations.Your political representatives in the recent and post war past have alienated a large part of the world .In the new order, imperialism must be replaced by co-operation in order to secure World peace and progress.

The only time I really think about Hillary being female and Obama being black is when nonAmericans talk about it on the Internet.

And as far as Obama being president, it would be dangerous for our country, not him. He has no experience. He arrived on the scene via celebrities. It's more like a bandwagon for a pop star than for someone who really has the experience to lead this country. His race is such a nonissue.

And the only time I've really heard any issue being raised about Hillary being female is when she claimed she was getting piled on because she was a woman. That's her bigotry, not the American people.

Hilary - most qualified and it's about time for a woman to run things! People don't like Hilary because they judge her according to her (excellent president) husband. Also it's a lot of jealousy and plain old-fashioned closed-mindedness and misguided pride

Guilianni - No way - he's still a puppet! NOT presidential material.

As for Barak - no one will take him seriously - a waste of time!

But definitely NO REPUBLICAN - I'd vote for Bozo the Clown before I'd vote for another one of those -------s! They've done enough harm already!

BUT, the secret people who REALLY run the country will decide for us. How do you think Bush got in? Certainly NOT on brains or merit! He's a member of the secret (underground) society - he's their current puppet!

I hope I don't have to move to a foreign country or a private island if we get stuck with another Republican.

I'm voting for Ron Paul (R) because he is very anti-war and wants to shrink down the federal government and give more power to the states. People don't like Hilary because of coruption of the Cintons ,the white water scandal and pardons of their friends. Barack won''t get elected as prez because of his lack expereince. It would be a good move to put him on as vice prez i might appempts on him if he was elected but the secret service would most likely stop them.

Don't know yet whom I'll vote for.
Leaning towards Gullianie. ( not much to choose from actually)
I don't like Hillery...she just gives me the chills.
Barak? no...He can't even say the Pledge allegiance.
If and African- American got elected ( and I think, why not?) it would not be dangerous for him. I can't think of a reason why it would be dangerous.

I won't vote for any of the Republican candidates. The right-wing agenda is far too extreme for me and doesn't benefit anyone but the politicians and the filthy rich lobbyists and corporations that support them.

too soon to tell, but the more Hillary is in the news, the more
I dislike her personality and how she handles herself, Obama
I crossed of my list because he swore into office on a Koran
and then after all the grieve he got about he, he changed his
religion, so how often will he conform to whatever he needs
to be instead of being his own man. So now I'm watching
the others and haven't made amy other decisions yet
