i need some help on some chemistry homework!!! i need to know the chemical formulas of baking powder, cornstarch, sugar,vinegar and iodine. and i need the scientific names of them too!!!
please help!

baking powder: NaHCO3 sodium bicarbonate
cornstarch: dunno
sugar: C6H12O6 sucrose
Vinegar: HC2H3O2 acetic acid
iodine: I2 iodine

DC gave you a start, but not completely.

Baking powder is a mixture, primarily Na2CO3. Th ecompund he showed is baking soda.

Corn starch is dextrose. It is a C6 sugar. You can look it up.

Sucrose is C12 H22 O11, not the simple sugar he showed.
