I dont have any children yet and my hubby and I have been ttc for only 2 months now. But I have heard it may take up to 1 year to conceive. Try not trying, I heard when you stop "Trying" to conceive it will happen. It sounds hard to do but worth a try. Good Luck and lots of Baby Dust! You are young so im sure it will happen soon enough, Good Luck.

Ok, Heres' what you need to do. Get a body temp thingy at the store. See I know when I ovulate and everybody tells you on this site that's it 12-14 days' after your period WRONG or at least for me. There is this thing called the luteral phase and for allot of women yes its 12-14 days. Well not for me. I found out about 4 months later that I actually ovulate about 5 days before my period starts and everybody says no way you cant' get pg. What ever!!! NO your body and go with it. Ovulation to me feels weird I get hot flashes and dizzy from it. Almost like I"m going to start my period. I might suggest picking up a book call "taking charge of your fertility" it explains allot. Also you might ovulate on your period to. Every women is different. Its ok and 6 months isn't that long.
Good Luck and baby dust to you.
4 months for me

I was told at 15 years old Id likely never have ANY babies due to severe PCOS. I had my first at age 22. Several years later I remarried and we tried intensely for 5 years with no luck(thank GOD no luck!!) I recently remarried(yes, again) a man who was married to HIS first wife for 10 years with no babies. So obviously children were the LAST thing we were thinking about. In September we celebrated our third anniversary, and any day now will bring our SECOND child together into the world!!

#1 i was 17 and tried for 3 months
#2 i was about 21 and tried for 3 months
#3 i was 24 it took 6 weeks
#4 i was off my bc for 6 weeks and i got preg, im 25 and 8 weeks preg with #4. this is our last. we are really hoping its a girl since the other 3 are boys and im tying my tubes so its our last chance. they were alled planned except #4, we knew it could happen but we werent "trying" like the others and really it just took one time that he finished in me that month. we hadnt decided on another one yet, well he wasnt sure i was all for it and one night we were in the middle of it and he said im going to finish in you , i was like but im ovulating we will get preg, he said whatever happens. it was all heat of the moment so when i tested and it posotive we were both like damn really in one night? but dont get me wrong we are still very happy!we were surprised since we actually had to try and i read alot on getting preg with the others. it will happen for you. at your age if you arent preg within 1 year of trying call your doc. it actually wouldnt hurt to see your doc right now and tell them you want to get preg. they will start you on vitamins and give you other info

all three of my wife's pregnancies within a month of of decision to conceive. Try 12-14 days after your period, it worked for us every time.
