Yes! How about one I did in the 6th grade: water retension in soil, basically meaning which kind of potting soil will hold water the longest and make a better soil for growing your plants. Another good topic to do a project on (if that is what you're doing) is what color light travels the best through fog and/or smoke...

yes i can . what i did on my s.p. is plant three seeds in a cup and see what kind of water helps them grow fastest or at all (distilled water tap or microwaved water ) tap water worked the best for me and yes I'm in the eight grade ........................do yo have a my space here's mine myspace.com/larayaner or larayaner@yahoo.com ....................what school do you go to ?
