Why? If a work place has denominations that don't practice Christmas they should just call it a holiday party. I think its a good way for everyone to interact without the stress of having to work or worry about getting things done.

No of course not!! work parties don't happen a lot and that gives the employees something to look forward to in going to work that day!!

I would Looooove to see that! What a waste!

This was the source of many an argument between me and my now ex-husband! As someone who professed to be a Christian, I just couldn't take sponsoring a drunken brawl for employees and customers when we were supposed to be celebrating the birth of the Savior. I went from trying to change it to just staying home in protest while he partied-hearty without me---guess it was not really a coincidence that he left for good during the Christmas season!

I don't know really which is worse, the people who sadly look forward to them because they have nowhere else to go during the holidays, or the people who grudgingly attend to kiss up to the boss!

If you mean because it's CHRISTMAS. . . .At my work we have a Holiday Party, welcoming to everyone. And the decorations are neutral like snow flakes, etc.

yes, b/c at my man's place of employment they banned pointsettias and santa, yet they had a holloween party.
So they should just keep it all business.
unfortunately, Jesus is out the & devil is in.
